Kayhan Space Says It Was ‘Frozen’ Out of Air Force Contracts

Kayhan Space Corp., an autonomous space flight services company, says the US Air Force has unlawfully deprived it of federal contract opportunities.

Kayhan received a contract from the the Air Force under the Small Business Innovation Research Program in January 2024, but then the agency made an “erroneous conclusion” to rescind it, according to its partially redacted complaint with the US Court of Federal Claims made public on Wednesday.

The court should direct the Air Force issue a notice of selection, and begin negotiations with Kayhan for an award, among other relief, the complaint said.
