K&L Gates Builds Austin Public Policy Work With Partner Wright

Kate Goodrich Wright joined K&L Gates as a partner in its public policy and law practice in Austin, the firm announced Tuesday.

Wright focuses her practice on public policy, procedure, and legislative law, and counsels clients on procedural rules, ethics, campaign finance, open records, and bill drafting. Her government practice includes representing clients on legislative, regulatory, and administrative matters across housing, transportation, municipalities, local governments, nonprofit organizations, technology, healthcare, and veterans, the firm said.

She joins from Holland & Knight.
