The US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services should reconsider its decision to award Superior Health Quality Alliance a nearly $49 million task order for healthcare quality improvement services, a federal oversight agency recommended.
Protester Island Peer Review Organization Inc., which does business as IPRO, showed that Superior Health’s bid didn’t provide enough information for the agency to reasonably conclude Superior Health was eligible to win the task order under terms of the competition, the US Government Accountability Office said.
