IRS’s $49 Million Order to Agovx Withstands Price Risk Claim

Agovx LLC can proceed with a $49 million IT task order from the IRS even though rival bidder 1st SBC Solutions LLC said in a protest that the agency didn’t properly consider whether the winning bid price was too low.

1st SBC Solutions, the incumbent contractor, failed to show that the IRS didn’t adequately consider in a price realism evaluation whether Agovx’s bid posed a risk of unsuccessful task order performance, the Government Accountability Office said in a decision made public Monday.
