Iron Bow Abandons China Spying Risk Appeal

Iron Bow Technologies LLC is dropping its appeal challenging the Social Security Administration’s decision to eliminate it from a desktop printers competition.

Neither the government nor NCS Technologies Inc., the awardee of a $37 million printers contract, oppose the motion for voluntary dismissal, Iron Bow told the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Iron Bow pursued this appeal after the U.S. Court of Federal Claims ruled that the agency reasonably concluded that Iron Bow could put the government at risk from China-backed cyber espionage due to its plan to provide printers from Lexmark International Inc., which is owned ...
