The U.S. Air Force may proceed with a procurement for information technology and cybersecurity services despite Inserso Corp.'s assertion that the agency is unlawfully reviewing bids on a lowest-priced, technically acceptable basis, the GAO said.
The Fiscal 2017 National Defense Authorization Act established a policy that the Department of Defense should avoid using lowest-priced, technically acceptable selection criteria in circumstances that would deny a contracting agency the benefits of cost and technical trade-off in bids, the Government Accountability Office said.
