ICE’s $646 Million Air Charter Award Stays With Classic Air

Classic Air Charter Inc. will hold on to a $646 million order to provide Immigration and Customs Enforcement with air charter services out of Florida, Louisiana, Texas, and Arizona, the Government Accountability Office said.

Protester CSI Aviation Inc., which submitted an $852 million offer, couldn’t show that Classic Air made material misrepresentations that tainted the award, or that the agency treated offerors unequally in the evaluation, the GAO said.

CSI Aviation identified several evaluation errors by the agency, but they weren’t prejudicial to CSI’s chances at winning the contract, the GAO concluded.
