Huawei Equipment Removal Lawsuit Gets Tossed by Claims Court

The US Court of Federal Claims ruled that it can’t review a lawsuit seeking $157 million for the government’s alleged breach of an agreement to remove Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd.'s equipment from America’s telecommunications network.

SI Wireless LLC failed to establish that the claims court has jurisdiction over the suit, Eric G. Bruggink said in a Wednesday opinion to dismiss. Communications statutes create an exclusive review scheme that provide that the case belongs in another court, Bruggink said.
