Geotab’s Postal Service Tracking Contract Withstands Challenge

Samsara Inc. lost its protest of a US Postal Service contract to Geotab USA Inc. awarded under a $300 million procurement for telematic fleet-tracking devices, the US Court of Federal Claims said in an opinion made public Friday.

Samsara was successful in a previous protest, showing that USPS performed an improper risk evaluation before awarding Geotab. USPS conducted a new best value determination, and again selected Geotab. Samsara protested a second time, challenging the USPS’s corrective action.
