Geotab, US Can’t Stop Samsara’s Postal Tracking Device Protest

Samsara Inc. can advance its protest of the US Postal Service’s $300 million procurement for telematic fleet-tracking devices, according to a US Court of Federal Claims order.

The court has denied contract awardee Geotab USA Inc.'s and the government’s motions to dismiss, Judge Thompson M. Dietz said in a Monday status report order.

These motions were denied Feb. 22, as was Samsara’s motion for injunctive relief. Dietz’s opinion is under seal.

Samsara says the procurement for devices that monitor the health and location of vehicles should be halted because the agency’s requirements have become “obsolete” since contract proposals were submitted ...
