Geotab USA Inc. will defend its US Postal Service contract award to provide advanced telematic fleet-tracking devices used in vehicles, in a court protest filed by Samsara Inc. last week.
Geotab’s “unopposed” motion to intervene was granted Monday by Judge Thompson M. Dietz of the US Court of Federal Claims in a scheduling order, that also set April 3 as the deadline for Samsara to file a motion for injunctive relief.
Dietz’s order also stated that the government said USPS won’t voluntarily stay contract performance pending litigation.
Samsara filed its protest under seal March 13.
