General Dynamics Information Technology was awarded a $922 million contract to update the US Central Command’s enterprise IT infrastructure, according to a Thursday news release.
The contract will help the military use data, through artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, to improve decisionmaking and transition the agency to a new cloud environment, GDIT said.
The award, from the General Services Administration, has a one-year base period and five option years, according to GDIT.
