General Dynamics Says Peraton ‘Cut Corners’ to Get IT Task Order

General Dynamics Information Technology Inc. says the US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services made several errors before awarding Peraton Inc. a $55 million IT services task order.

The US Court of Federal Claims should terminate the task order to help the agency process claims for durable medical equipment, and require the agency to re-compete the requirement, General Dynamics said in a partially redacted complaint made public Thursday.

General Dynamics lost the chance to compete for the task order “on a level playing field” because of the agency’s errors, it says.
