GAO Protest Report Shows Slight Dip in Relief Rate for 2021 (1)

The Government Accountability Office provided relief to almost half of contractors challenging federal agency contract actions, the watchdog’s annual report to Congress shows.

The report, made public on Tuesday, shows an effectiveness rate of 48%, down from 51% a year ago.

The effectiveness rate reflects how often protesters convinced the GAO to sustain a protest or an agency to fix a procurement error with corrective action.
