Former Raytheon Employee Arrested for Hindering Investigation

A former Raytheon employee was arrested for witness tampering connected to an investigation into alleged time-card fraud, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts announced Nov. 20.

This witness tampering charge—misleading conduct with intent to prevent other employees from communicating with law enforcement about alleged time-card fraud—provides for a maximum of 20 years in prison.

Ahmedelhadi Yassin Serageldin of Sharon, Mass., will appear in a Boston federal court for a detention hearing Nov. 21, the announcement said.
