Three Florida teachers can move forward with claims alleging the state discriminated against them by enforcing a law that bars them from sharing their pronouns with students unless the pronouns align with their biological sex.
The teachers have adequately alleged that enforcement of the pronoun policy discriminates against them with respect to the terms, conditions, or privileges of their employment based on their sex, in violation of Title VII and Title IX, Chief Judge Mark E. Walker of the US District Court for the Northern District of Florida said in a Wednesday order.
