FedSys Accused of Fraud Under Afghanistan Translation Contract

The US government says FedSys Inc. defrauded the Army when it performed a recruitment and linguist training support subcontract in Afghanistan from 2008 to 2012.

FedSys, which received the subcontract from Mission Essential Personnel LLC, violated the False Claims Act by billing the government for services despite creating fictitious candidates in order to collect fees and bonuses, according to the government’s complaint filed with the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
