Federal Agencies Expected to Adopt New Travel IT System in 2025

A new travel system for federal employees at civilian government agencies is expected to launch in November, according to a General Services Administration announcement this morning.

The system will be built and operated by IBM, and is intended to function as a governmentwide booking platform. Details of the November launch target come about a year after the technology company won a contract called e-Gov Travel Service Next Generation, or ETSNext, for up to 15 years and $2.8 billion.
