EPA Unlawfully Axed $400 Million Clean Energy Grant, Group Says

The US Environmental Protection Agency breached a $400 million Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund grant in early 2025 by terminating it without any legal basis, a Native American group says.

The court should order the government to pay damages and return Native CDFI Network’s “illegally exacted” funds, it told the US Court of Federal Claims Monday in an eight-count complaint.
