Envistacom’s $235 Million Army Order Withstands Second Protest

The U.S. Army reasonably awarded Envistacom LLC a $235 million communication systems support task order despite Datapath Inc.'s challenge to the agency’s past performance evaluation, the GAO said.

Incumbent contractor Datapath failed to show that the agency was wrong in disregarding Envistacom’s deficient performance in two past task orders, because those efforts involved delivery of products, not the services covered in the solicitation, the Government Accountability Office said in a decision released Wednesday.

Datapath also didn’t show that the evaluation was improperly focused on its earlier problems performing the incumbent task order, the GAO said.
