Eaton Gets Dismissal of Whistleblower’s Labor Hours Fraud Suit

Eaton Corp. PLC won dismissal of a whistleblower’s False Claims Act suit alleging improper employment practices under defense contracts, a California federal district court said.

Eaton showed that Stephen Davis’ suit should be dismissed for failing to plead sufficient facts to state a claim, and for failing to plead fraud with sufficient particularity, according to a one-page order issued by the US District Court for the Central District of California. Judge Consuelo B. Marshall is presiding over the suit.
