DynCorp Keeps $1.4 Billion Border Patrol Aircraft Contract

PAE Aviation and Technical Services LLC failed to show that U.S. Customs and Border Patrol relied on a material misrepresentation about key personnel before awarding DynCorp International LLC a $1.4 billion aircraft maintenance and logistics support contract, the GAO said in a decision released Wednesday.

DynCorp’s bid showed that two proposed employees don’t work for the contractor, but the agency didn’t rely on this information to make its selection, the Government Accountability Office said.

PAE didn’t demonstrate that the DynCorp received positive ratings because of the two proposed employees, the GAO said.
