DynCorp, GLS Face Fraud, Trafficking Claims Over Kuwait Work

DynCorp International LLC and subsidiary Global Linguist Solutions LLC must face claims they defrauded the U.S. Army under translation contracts worth over $14 billion, and violated human trafficking laws by forcing their employees to stay in Kuwait against their will, the District of Maryland said.

Even though the 29 U.S. citizens that worked for GLS rely on publicly disclosed information for their False Claims Act suit, their claims may proceed because the workers are original sources of information, said Judge Paula Xinis of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
