Dominion Energy Shows Pipeline Dispute Belongs With Regulators

The East Ohio Gas Co., which does business as Dominion Energy Ohio, convinced that state’s top court that regulators and not a state court should review whether Dominion failed to properly compensate natural-gas producers.

An appellate court correctly determined that the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has exclusive jurisdiction over class action claims from Landmark 2 Limited Liability, Moore Resources LLC, and Moore Well Services Inc., the Ohio Supreme Court said Wednesday in a per curiam opinion.
