DOJ’s $32 Million Security Support Contract Withstands Protest

Artex Group LLC is cleared to perform a $32 million security and emergency management support services contract for the US Justice Department, the US Government Accountability Office said.

Protester Watermark Risk Management International LLC didn’t show Artex made misrepresentations about key personnel that required eliminating its bid, the GAO said in a decision released Monday.

The solicitation required DOJ to assess bidders’ administrative information in an organizational chart, not the individuals identified for certain positions, the GAO said. Whether a certain individual actually would perform in a position wasn’t relevant to proposal evaluations, the decision said.
