The U.S. Justice Department asked a federal court in Washington to dismiss an indictment accusing three executives for defense companies of committing fraud in connection with an $8 billion troop supply contract.
The government seeks dismissal because it entered into non-prosecution agreements with the executives, the DOJ told the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in a joint motion to dismiss.
The parties will submit the agreements if the court requests, they said.
