DirectViz Keeps $75 Million National Science Foundation IT Award

AccelGov LLC failed to show that the National Science Foundation improperly awarded DirectViz Solutions LLC a blanket purchase agreement to provide IT customer support services estimated to be worth $75 million.

AccelGov didn’t demonstrate that the agency treated the contractors unequally, or that it overlooked several benefits of AccelGov’s bid under the technical capability factor that it recognized in DirectViz’s bid, Judge Thompson M. Dietz of the US Court of Federal Claims said in an opinion released Dec. 2.

The firms’ approaches had substantive and notable differences, the court said.
