The U.S. Department of Homeland Security released a final request for proposal on Jan. 26 to establish a five-year, $91 million multiple-award contract known as Research, Engineering and Development, Test and Evaluation II (RDT&E II).
The recompete contract will cover professional, scientific, and technical support services for the DHS Science and Technology Directorate’s Transportation Security Laboratory in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The work for RDT&E II will be performed under three task areas: applied research and development of new technologies; developmental test and evaluation; and applied research and evaluation for detection, mitigation, and vulnerability assessment.
