The US Department of Homeland Security no longer has to defend against Strata-G Solutions LLC’s protest alleging the department improperly decided not to award it a $100 million maximum value aircraft support services contract.
Strata-G didn’t allege a concrete non-hypothetical injury that the US Court of Federal Claims can review, Judge Loren A. Smith said in a decision to dismiss the suit made public Tuesday. This assessment may change, Smith said, and Strata-G can bring a “ripe” case if it still believes the department’s actions are harmful.
