Deloitte’s $77 Million Order Needs Conflict of Interest Review

Guidehouse LLP won its protest of a $77 million task order awarded to Deloitte & Touche LLP to provide audit remediation and sustainment services for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller), the GAO said in a decision released Thursday.

The task order—awarded by the Department of Defense’s Washington Headquarters Service—was flawed because the agency failed to show it adequately considered a conflict of interest arising from an evaluator’s potential financial interest in Deloitte, the Government Accountability Office said.
