Deloitte Wins Protest of $50 Million GSA Cybersecurity Order

Deloitte Consulting LLP showed that the General Services Administration erred in awarding Kearney & Co. a $50 million task order to provide cybersecurity and privacy support services for the Department of Housing and Urban Development because the services exceed the scope of Kearney’s underlying federal supply schedule contract, the GAO said in a decision released Tuesday.

The knowledge, expertise, and activities needed to address HUD’s needs aren’t reasonably reflected in the FSS labor categories on which Kearney’s bid was based, the Government Accountability Office said.
