Deloitte Keeps $800 Million Audit Contract for Now, Court Says

Deloitte & Touche LLP held on to a five-year, maximum value $800 million contract to prepare Air Force financial systems for audits following protester KPMG LLP‘s unsuccessful motion for preliminary injunctive relief, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims said.

KPMG contends that the award is tainted by organizational conflicts of interest that will arise from Deloitte’s previous contracts, but the Air Force reasonably concluded that Deloitte has no conflicts, and that its conflict mitigation plan was adequate to resolve any potential conflicts, Judge Loren A. Smith said.
