Dell Says Companies Can’t Tell Government How to Use Their Tech

Dell Technologies Inc. Chief Executive Officer Michael Dell said that a company doing business with the government can’t tell agencies how to use its technology, responding to a question about Anthropic PBC’s feud with the US Defense Department.

“I don’t think a company can dictate to a sovereign government what it does with its tools,” Dell said in a Bloomberg Television interview on Thursday, without referencing Anthropic by name. “I just don’t think that’s workable model.”
