Defense Logistics Agency Clarifies IT Services Contract Teaming

December 9, 2022, 8:13 PM UTC

The Defense Logistics Agency clarified its position on teaming arrangements for the JETS 2.0 contract in a Dec. 8 notice.

The update explains that a previous note about specific types of Contractor Teaming Arrangements, a defined term in procurement regulations, was incomplete.

JETS 2.0 won’t necessarily use the same CTA as its predecessor contract, but DLA said “partnerships and subcontracting are permitted and encouraged.”

Bloomberg Government estimates JETS 2.0 will be worth up to $6 billion over the 10-year multiple award IT services contract. DLA plans to release a final JETS 2.0 request for proposal in spring 2023.
