Defense Agency Properly Eliminated Generator Bidder for Conflict

The US Defense Logistics Agency reasonably excluded WSP USA Solutions Inc. from a procurement to provide FEMA with generator sets because the company has organizational conflicts of interest.

The agency reasonably concluded that WSP would have an unequal access to information conflict from its work under the US Army Corps of Engineers’ Advanced Contract Initiative, under which WSP performs temporary emergency power missions in Corps and FEMA regions, the Government Accountability Office said in a decision released Wednesday.
