CWS Marketing Group Inc. and whistleblower Bid Solve Inc. have resolved a False Claims Act suit alleging that CWS made misrepresentations to win a $41 million IRS contract for property auction services that was set aside for small businesses, according to a Tuesday court filing.
The suit is dismissed, according to an entry on the US District Court for the District of Columbia docket. The parties filed a stipulation of dismissal with the court March 29.
CWS and its owner agreed to pay the government nearly $1.6 million, said Bid Solve’s attorney, Jonathan Tycko of Tycko & Zavareei LLP.
