An appeal challenging a $949 million prescription drug fraud verdict against
Omnicare must inform the court as to the status of an automatic stay, as required by the bankruptcy code, within 14 days, and then at 30-day intervals. It must also immediately announce when developments in the bankruptcy proceeding allow the appeal to move forward, the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit said in a Tuesday order.
