Contractors Shouldn’t Check Mail for DOL Audit Notice (1)

Federal contractors will no longer be getting a courtesy audit notice in the mail, according to multiple sources with first-hand knowledge of the situation. The Corporate Scheduling Announcement Letters will instead be posted publicly on the Labor Department’s website.

The DOL’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs isn’t legally required to send the CSALs, as they’re known, but the notices serve as “a gift of time” for contractors to make sure their compliance obligations and affirmative action plans are in peak condition.
