Contractors Eye New Opportunities in Border Wall Spending Push

As the Trump administration continues to push for border security, Customs and Border Protection funding is likely to flow into contracts with the private sector, especially for construction of a wall on the US border with Mexico.

Republicans’ reconciliation bill could include $46.5 billion for funding border barrier construction and related infrastructure work, following the House Homeland Security Committee’s approval of its portion of the package last month.
