Contractor Relief Will Extend Past Sept. 30, GSA Official Says

A temporary waiver of some contractor pricing requirements—designed to help the industry deal with skyrocketing inflation and supply chain woes—will likely be extended past Sept. 30, a procurement official said Tuesday.

The General Services Administration in March released an acquisition letter that offered more flexibility to contractors seeking price increases and placed a moratorium on enforcing price limitations in certain GSA contracts. The expiration date for the relaxed rules is Sept. 30, the end of the government fiscal year.
