CompQsoft Can Keep Defense Agency’s $47 Million IT Support Order

CompQsoft Inc. is cleared to perform a $47.5 million Defense Information Systems Agency task order for information technology support services after a competing bidder protested the company’s award, the Government Accountability Office said in a decision released Thursday.

Protester AccelGov LLC, which submitted a $29.2 million bid, failed to show that the agency conducted an unreasonable best-value tradeoff analysis before choosing CompQsoft, the GAO said.

The agency reasonably determined that CompQsoft’s “technically superior” proposal justified paying the higher price, the GAO said.
