Coffman Specialties Inc. said Monday that it is ending its case against the US Navy seeking compensation under a contract to repair a runway at the air facility in El Centro, Cal.
Coffman requested dismissal of the US Court of Federal Claims dispute because the parties have reached a settlement agreement, according to the contractor’s unopposed motion.
The parties didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. Terms of the settlement weren’t made available.
The company sued in 2018, seeking seeking $1.4 million in soil disposal costs incurred under the contract.
