CMS’s $41 Million Audit Award Stands Despite Flawed Discussions

Healthcare Management Solutions LLC can perform a $41 million auditing services task order for the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services despite the agency’s improper discussions, the US Court of Federal Claims said.

Protester RELI Group showed that the manner in which the agency conducted discussions violated the solicitation’s terms, but this error wasn’t prejudicial to RELI, Judge Loren A. Smith said in an opinion made public Wednesday, granting the government’s motion to dismiss, and granting the government’s and the awardee’s motions for judgment on the administrative record.
