The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is conducting market research on a follow-on to RMADA, its five-year multiple-award contract with a $7 billion ceiling, according to a request for information issued Feb. 20.
RMADA was released after passage of the Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA), laws that require CMS to study how to redesign how health care is provided and financed in the U.S.
