Chugach Logistics Retains $196 Million Nevada Navy Base Contract

Chugach Logistics & Facility Services JV LLC is cleared to perform a $196 million contract from the US Navy to perform base operation support services at Naval Air Station Fallon in Nevada, the US Government Accountability Office said.

Protester GKG Contractors LLC argued the Navy should’ve disqualified Chugach for planning to rely on a quality manager that fell short of required experience, and that the Navy improperly reviewed Chugach’s prior projects in the past performance evaluation. The GAO rejected those arguments in a decision released Thursday.
