Garrett Electronics Inc. failed to show that procurement flaws by the Federal Protective Service required halting CEIA USA Ltd.'s $5 million contract for walk through metal detectors used in US government buildings, according to a federal claims court.
Garrett argued that CEIA received a competitive advantage from “spoon-fed” information after the agency agreed to take corrective action—and seek revised bids—after Garrett protested at the Government Accountability Office.
