G4S Secure Solutions Inc. dropped its protest of a detention officer services contract to be performed for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, allowing Spectrum Security Services Inc. to continue performing the work as it has since 2012, according to a filing with the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
G4S filed a notice of voluntary dismissal of the “multi-million dollar” procurement protest complaint it filed under seal on Sept. 7.
Spectrum intervened in the protest to defend its contract award, stating in a public court filing that G4S submitted a nonconforming proposal that made it ineligible for an award.
