CACI Loses Protest Over $8 Billion US Army Hardware Procurement

CACI Inc.-Federal lost its protest challenging its elimination from the US Army’s $8 billion procurement to provide information technology hardware.

The US Court of Federal Claims on Monday granted judgment on the administrative record to the government and intervenors General Dynamics Information Technology Inc. and General Dynamics Mission Systems Inc. The court’s July 5 opinion is under seal.

The procurement at issue is the sixth generation of the Common Hardware Systems contract, or CH-6. It calls for commercial off-the-shelf items like laptops, phones, and tablets.
