CACI Denied Bid for Appeal in Abu Ghraib Prison Abuse Lawsuit

CACI Premier Technology Inc. lost its bid to appeal a recent ruling in the Abu Ghraib prison abuse suit which denied the contractor’s motions to dismiss plaintiffs’ aiding and abetting claims.

CACI’s motion for an interlocutory appeal was denied Aug. 25 from the bench by Judge Leonie M. Brinkema of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. CACI wanted to appeal a July 31 ruling by the court that allowed the case to proceed. That opinion is under seal.
