The Abu Ghraib prison abuse lawsuit will continue against interrogation contractor
The derivative sovereign immunity defense won’t protect a contractor that says it was following government instructions if the contractor is accused of helping military personnel in acts of torture and war crimes, Judge Leonie M. Brinkema of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia said March 22.
